Jose MacIas

Jose Macias, MBA, is a seasoned development manager with extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising and philanthropy. Currently serving as the Manager of Development for Principal Gifts at Feeding America since August 2022, Macias previously held managerial roles at Advocate Health Care from January 2015 to August 2022, focused on expanding healthcare access through philanthropic initiatives. Prior experience includes managing fundraising events for Autism Speaks and leading corporate development efforts for the American Heart Association in the Chicago area. Notably, Macias contributed significantly to the American Cancer Society, raising $1 million for cancer programs in West Cook County, and gained early experience in sales management with Schwarz Supply Source and customer service at Kronos Products. Macias holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Resource and Consumer Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
