Karen Gamperl

Karen Gamperl, MPA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in meeting and event management, instructional design, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Member Engagement at Feeding America since June 2016, Karen leads the implementation of the organization's learning strategy, manages major conferences, and develops engaging learning solutions. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Meetings and Distance Education at the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, where significant improvements in attendee experience and budget management were achieved, and Education and Professional Development Associate at the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, focusing on distance education certification programs. Karen holds an MPA in Nonprofit Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BA in Graphic Design from DePaul University.
