Chris Morris

Chris Morris possesses extensive experience in member and board engagement, currently serving as the Senior Director for the Southwest Region at the National Association of Manufacturers since January 2022. Previously, Chris held multiple roles at the U.S. Department of Energy, including Deputy Assistant Secretary for House Affairs. A notable part of Chris's career also includes working in various legislative capacities for Congressman Lamar Smith, culminating as Legislative Director. Early professional experiences include internships at VOX Global, Yale University, the United States Senate, and within the Texas House of Representatives. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University, enhancing a solid foundation in political and legislative processes.
