Laura Juergens

Laura Juergens has a strong background in human resources operations, compensation and benefits, and HR management. Laura served as the Vice President of Human Resources Operations at Feeding America from 2014 to present. Prior to that, they were the Director of Compensation and Benefits at Vanguard Health Systems from 2005 to 2013. Laura also worked as the Manager of Human Resources at Hamilton Center, Inc. from 1998 to 2005.

Laura Juergens received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College from 1992 to 1996. Laura then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Indiana University Indianapolis from 1996 to 1998. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Laura has acquired various certifications, such as Mental Health First Aid at Work from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2023, Conflict Resolution Foundations from LinkedIn in 2017, SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) from SHRM in 2015, and Fundamental Payroll Certification from the American Payroll Association in December 2014. Laura also has certifications from World at Work, including Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and Work-Life Certified Professional (WLCP).
