David Sevcik

David Sevcik has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. David is currently working as a Data Engineer/Consultant at Feefo since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Reevoo from April 2020 to December 2021 as a Principal Software Engineer. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Reevoo from June 2014 to March 2020.

David's work experience also includes a role as a Senior Developer at Polarion Software from April 2012 to April 2014. During this time, they developed an integration platform in Ruby on Rails based on the OSLC standard, maintained a JavaScript SDK for partner developers, and created project tracking and Scrum applications in Ember.

Before joining Polarion Software, David worked as a Developer/Consultant at Mycroft Mind, a.s. from March 2011 to March 2012. In this role, they developed a fuel fraud detection system, created plugins for complex event processing, and developed a testing framework for complex event processing systems as part of their master's thesis.

David also worked as a Tutor of Domain Modeling Course at Masaryk University from September 2011 to December 2011. Additionally, they served as a Senior Developer at Propeople.cz from January 2010 to March 2011, where they developed a cell phone eCommerce site, created a multi-site management tool, and managed a team working on an eCommerce site for selling car tires.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Ruby Developer at Skvely.CZ from June 2008 to September 2008, and as a Webdesigner/Developer at Actimmy a.s. from September 2007 to May 2008.

David Sevcik earned a Master's Degree in Service Science, Management and Engineering from Masaryk University Brno, which they attended from 2005 to 2011. In 2010, they also participated in an exchange program at the University of Tampere 1925-2018, where they studied Information Sciences for one year. In addition, they obtained a certification in Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera Verified Certificates in February 2014.
