Adria Márquez

Adria Márquez is a multicultural communications expert and social entrepreneur. Adria has over 12 years’ experience across the entertainment, political, and advocacy arenas. She is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships at 1P.org, a new tech-focused social enterprise, and is also the Founder of Latinos Media, a digital social impact consulting practice. In 2020, Adria led the launch of multiple Latinx-focused start-ups including LA Collab, SUMA Wealth, and She Se Puede (now known as Poderistas). Prior to starting her own company, Adria was the Vice President of Global Digital Communications for the Motion Picture Association, and served as a political appointee for the Obama Administration under the U.S. Department of Education. In addition to her expertise in bilingual digital communications and social media strategy, Adria is passionate about mentoring, leadership development, cultural competence, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across different industries. She was the first Latina Vice President at the Motion Picture Association and currently serves as the elected Chair of the Obama Latinos Alumni Association.
