Earlier in their career, Ittai worked as an International Technical Support Manager at MTRE Advanced Technologies Ltd., where they provided technical support during the installation, implementation, and maintenance of company products. Ittai ensured systems records were compliant and communicated with the design team and stakeholders to resolve technical problems. Ittai also worked at CNC Ltd as a Technical Support and Field Representative, providing technical support for complex robotics systems at customer sites, including installations, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance service.

From 1997 to 1999, Ittai Shamir attended Ruppin College, where they pursued a degree in Practical Engineering. During this time, they specialized in the field of Mechatronics, Electro Mechanical, and Robotics Engineering.
