Barry R. Komisaruk

Dr. Barry R. Komisaruk is a Distinguished Professor in the Psychology Department at Rutgers University. His major research interests include: functional neuroimaging of genital sensory response; neurophysiology, neuropharmacology and neuroendocrinology of reproductive behavior; and neural control of autonomic genital function. Dr. Komisaruk was a National Institute of Mental Health Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroendocrinology at the Brain Research Institute of UCLA and a Program Director of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGS) at the NIH. He received a B.S. in Biology from The City University of New York and a Ph.D. in Psychobiology from Rutgers University.
