Isabel Martins

Isabel Martins has a diverse work experience in the field of orthotics and prosthetics. Isabel started their career as an intern at Ortopedia Aeropuerto in 2010 and then worked as an intern at Ortopedia Arroyo in 2011. In 2013, they joined Fundación Eurodiscap and Variprot as a CPO certified prosthetics and orthotics professional. Isabel then worked at OrtoBalance - Ortopedia Técnica, Unipessoal Lda as an orthotics specialist from 2015 to 2018. Following that, they worked at Ortoiberica as a CPO prosthetist and orthotist from 2018 to 2019. Isabel continued their career at ALPHA SANITARIA SERVICIOS GLOBALES DE SALUD SL as a prosthetist and orthotist until March 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at EDSER Labs as a CPO certified prosthetist and orthotist. Currently, they are employed as an orthoprosthetic specialist at FEET SOLUTIONS BCN, starting in November 2022.

Isabel Martins has a Licenciatura degree in Ortoprotesia from Universidade do Algarve - Escola Superior de Saúde de Faro, which they obtained from 2007 to 2012. In 2016, they completed a course in Ortóteses Plantares Desportivas e Análise da Marcha from Ortoan. In 2015, they attended the I Congresso Nacional de Técnicas Ortoprotésicas at Ortoan. In 2014, they completed a course in AFO's dinâmicas from Centro Formativo Ortoprotésico de Andalucía, and also took a course in Ortoprotesia with a focus on Curso de Capacetes Cranianos from the same institution. In 2013, they completed a course in English from Universidade do Algarve.
