Adrian B. Engel, PE, CASp, is a seasoned transportation and municipal engineer with over 25 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal and Senior Associate at Fehr & Peers since May 2016, Adrian also holds the role of Past President of the Board of Directors at Civic Thread since January 2014. Active in the Urban Land Institute since June 2010, Adrian has held various leadership positions including former Chair of the Transportation and Innovation Committee and the TOD Advisory Council. An instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, Adrian educates on roadway geometric design as part of the Technology Transfer Program. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at Echelon Transportation Group and Project Manager at Mark Thomas and Company. Adrian began their engineering career as Assistant Engineer at Vaughan Surveys, Inc. and completed a BS in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
