Ian St John has a strong background in product development and innovation in the food industry. Ian has held various roles in different companies, working with both small and large businesses across a range of food products. Ian has experience managing teams and delivering product development projects for retailers, brand partners, and own brands. Ian is knowledgeable about market research and food trends, packaging design, and meeting customer codes of practice and regulations. Ian is also the founder and director of St John Food Consultancy, offering product development and process development services to food manufacturers, retailers, and start-up businesses.

Ian St John completed their education at three different institutions. From 1992 to 1997, they attended St Julians and obtained their GCSE. Following this, from 1997 to 1999, they studied at Crosskeys College and completed their A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Geography. Finally, from 1999 to 2002, they attended King's College London and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition.
