Erik Champion has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Erik began their career in 2003 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts as an Over Hire Technician. Erik then worked as a Sound Designer at the Pocono Playhouse, where they were responsible for designing and mixing shows. Erik later became a Technical Director and Master Carpenter at the Bucks County Playhouse, where they handled set construction and maintenance.
In 2010, Erik joined Allenberry Playhouse as a Sound Designer, overseeing sound equipment, budgets, and collaborating with production personnel. Erik also worked as an adult counselor/designer for the APTC children's theater camp.
Erik then joined Prather Entertainment Group as the Head Props/Assistant Carpenter, followed by a brief stint as an Independent Contractor at Proline Entertainment, LLC.
Erik'smost recent position was at Feld Entertainment, starting in 2013. Erik worked as a Production Stage Manager, supervising stagehands, coordinating equipment transportation, and managing safety programs. Erik later took on roles as a Tour Manager, Technical Operations Manager, and currently serves as the Director of International Touring Operations.
Throughout their career, Erik has gained expertise in various areas such as audio engineering, rigging, and technical operations. Erik has worked on notable productions including Disney on Ice shows and has experience with sound design, budget tracking, and creating positive working environments.
Erik Champion completed their high school education at Brookfield Central High School from 2001 to 2005. Erik then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater Design and Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 2005 to 2009.
