Kerry Higgins has extensive work experience in the field of lighting design and technology. Kerry currently works as a Lighting Designer/Head of Department at BattleBots, overseeing the design, programming, and maintenance of all lighting gear for the Destruct-A-Thon show. In their previous roles, they have worked as a Stagehand (Lighting/Video/PM) at IATSE 720, Chief Lighting Technician at Felix Lighting, and LED & Lighting Technician at Agility AVL. Kerry also has experience as a Lighting Designer/Video Technician at Sahara Las Vegas and as a Lighting Technician and Carpenter at Cirque du Soleil. Additionally, Kerry has worked as a Crew Chief/Lighting Tech at Christie Lites, Lighting Technician at Morpheus Lights and PRG, and as a Moving Light Technician, Programmer, and Designer, where they repaired and maintained various lighting fixtures and programmed consoles for a wide range of productions. Kerry's experience spans over 20 years in the industry.

Kerry Higgins attended Dearborn High School, although no degree or field of study is specified. Later, they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Theatre Production at Kingsborough Community College from 2007 to 2011. Currently, Kerry is studying at Harvard University, aiming to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History, which is expected to be completed between 2017 and 2024.
