Stéphane Ruel

Stephane Ruel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in space technology and innovation. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Space Technology at Felix & Paul Studios since December 2020, Ruel previously held the position of General Manager and Director of R&D at LUMIBIRD from May 2019 to December 2020. Ruel's career at Neptec Design Group spanned nearly two decades, where roles included Vice President of Innovation, Director of Exploration Technology Programs, Project Manager, and Operations Engineer/Computer Vision Software Developer, focusing on the development of advanced technologies such as LIDAR systems and the Canadian Space Vision System. Ruel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International Space University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Université Laval, along with additional specialized space studies.
