Natara began a legal career as an Attorney Advisor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and has contributed to industry organizations, including the Women's Council on Energy and the Environment and the NYC Bar Association. Education includes a JD from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and a BA in Environmental Studies and History from Binghamton University.
