Fellowship House
Rosemary Smith Hoel has a significant amount of work experience in the mental health field. Rosemary started their career in 1997 as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program Counselor at Fellowship House and later worked their way up to positions such as Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program Supervisor, Vice President of Clinical Services, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2014, they became the President and CEO of Fellowship House. In 2002, they also worked as a Therapist at the Center for Family and Child Enrichment.
Rosemary Smith Hoel holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, which they obtained from Florida International University between 1999 and 2002. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Barry University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained the certifications of Certified Addictions Professional from the Florida Certification Board and Licensed Mental Health Counselor from the State of Florida Department of Health. Fellowship House
Fellowship House is a private, not-for-profit psychosocial rehabilitation center for individuals who experience severe and persistent psychiatric disabilities including those with co-occurring substance abuse disorders. It is the mission of Fellowship House to assist adults with severe and persistent psychiatric disabilities and individuals that also have co-occurring substance abuse disorders, achieve the maximum level of community integration and self reliance. This is accomplished by providing a comprehensive continuum of programs and services offering supportive opportunities for vocational and social rehabilitation as well as residential options, psychiatric and case management services. Fellowship House is committed to helping the persons served, who are called “members”, to better understand their illness, develop coping strategies, improve their quality of life and experience recovery.
