Niru de Silva

Niru De Silva currently serves as the Director of FOCUS Retreats at The Fellowship of Catholic University Students, a position held since February 2022, where responsibilities include launching a new department, building a team, and creating a strategic business plan that maximizes outreach through retreats. Previously, Niru worked as the Coordinator of Young Adult Ministry for the Catholic Diocese of Arlington from June 2019 to February 2022, focusing on evangelization and engagement within 70 parishes. Niru's earlier roles at The Fellowship of Catholic University Students from April 2012 to June 2019 included Regional Director, overseeing multiple direct reports and setting annual goals, as well as Team Director and Missionary at Columbia University, where engagement with students was essential. Niru holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Benedictine College.
