Nikhil Basu Trivedi

Nikhil Basu Trivedi has worked in the venture capital industry since 2012. In 2021, they co-founded and became a General Partner at Footwork, an early-stage focused venture capital firm investing its first fund ($175M). Nikhil also became a Series Seed Lead and Board Member at Cradlewise Inc., a Series A Lead and Board Member at Via, a Series Seed Lead and Board Member at Table22, and a Series A Lead and Independent Board Member at Literati. In 2022, they became a Series Seed Lead and Board Observer at Power, a Series A Lead and Board Member at Felt, and a Series A Lead and Board Member at Heard. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a VC. From 2012 to 2019, they were a Managing Director at Shasta Ventures, a boutique, early-stage venture capital firm in Silicon Valley investing its fifth fund in consumer and enterprise technology startups.

Nikhil Basu Trivedi attended Reading School from 2000 to 2002, Menlo School from 2003 to 2007, and Princeton University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned an A.B. in Molecular Biology and Finance.
