Sam Hashemi

Sam Hashemi is the CEO and co-founder of Felt, a company that they sold for one hundred million dollars in 2021. Prior to that, they served as board chair of Remix, a company they helped start in 2014. As a fellow with Code for America in 2014, Sam helped design and build an SMS system to keep people informed about their court case in Atlanta. In San Francisco, they started a project to let transit agencies more quickly plan their bus routes. Sam also served as product lead at NASA from 2011 to 2013 and as designer and researcher at webOS from 2010 to 2011.

Sam Hashemi is currently pursuing a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. Previously, Sam completed a bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction and Cognitive Science also at Carnegie Mellon University.
