Kristoffer Stenersen has worked in the software development industry since 2005. Kristoffer began their career at ABB as a Software Developer, where they designed, implemented, and tested an automation network testing tool. In 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at Fast Search & Transfer ASA, and then as a Software Development Engineer at FAST, A Microsoft Subsidiary. In 2006, they also completed a Master thesis project at NTNU, which involved algorithm design and implementation for the Cytoscape bioinformatics software platform. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where they contributed to one of the world's finest enterprise search engines. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Software Development Consultant at Geodata AS, where they extended the ESRI platform/SDKs in order to fulfil specific customer requirements. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Software Development Consultant at Fink AS and an iOS Developer (Consultant) at Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK). Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at FeltGIS since 2019.
Kristoffer Stenersen obtained their M.Sc from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, focusing on algorithms, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence, between 2001 and 2006. In 2005, they completed post graduate coursework at Chalmers University of Technology.
