Belkis D. has extensive experience in design and engineering within the civil and geotechnical fields. Currently serving as the Design & Execution Coordinator for Permanent Landside Works and Structures at Femern Link Contractors since January 2022, Belkis D. oversees various design coordination aspects including road, drainage, bridge, and landscape designs. Additionally, Belkis D. holds the role of Design Manager for the Fehmarnbelt tunnel project within a joint venture with Femern Link Contractors, and has previously worked as Head of Design & Engineering at Barslund A/S, where key projects included significant infrastructure developments in Denmark and Sweden. Earlier positions include Geotechnical Engineer at Barslund A/S and Ports & Marine Engineer at Sweco. Belkis D. earned a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University and holds various degrees focused on construction engineering and business management from reputable Danish institutions.
