Akash Pelala

Akash Pelala began their work experience in 2013 as an Afterschool Tutor at Berkeley Academy, where they provided homework assistance and taught Calculus to elementary school students. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern at Brooks Automation, testing and correcting scripts and making software builds. In 2017, they worked as a Drive-Thru Cashier at McDonald's, taking orders, cashiering, and offering mechanical knowledge to diagnose machine system problems. In 2018, they became a Customer Service Cashier at Whole Foods Market, providing exceptional customer service and ranking #9 in a charity fundraising event. Most recently, Akash worked as an Electrical Engineer at FemtoMetrix, Inc. starting in 2019. In this role, they designed and tested a proprietary electromagnetic system while considering various engineering aspects.

Akash Pelala attended Mission San Jose High School from 2010 to 2014. After graduating from high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, in 2012 and 2013, they undertook a program in Digital Sound Design at the Mission Valley Regional Occupational Program.
