Sorin Branza

Sorin Branza is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as an STS Superintendent/Mooring Master at Fendercare Marine since January 2019. Responsibilities include managing ocean-going oil lightering tank vessels during ship-to-ship transfer operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protocols to prevent oil spills. Prior experience includes roles as Master Mariner at Thome Group, Master on VLCC at NOS Shipmanagement Pte Ltd, and Mooring/Loading Master at Azzawiya Oil Refinery Company. Sorin Branza has also held positions as a Harbour Pilot in Constanta, Chief Officer at Gulf Energy Maritime and Uni-Tankers A/S, and Chief Officer at Ca.Li.Sa Spa. Sorin Branza holds a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies from the „Mircea cel Batrân” Naval Academy and a high school diploma in Informatics from Colegiul National Mircea cel Batran.
