Ciaran Turbitt has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Allstate, where they designed, built, and tested software solutions using COBOL and Visual Age. Ciaran then worked at various jobs as a backpacker before joining the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a Senior QA Analyst, responsible for creating and executing test cases for their web content management system. In 2012, they joined the Department of Justice and Attorney General as a QA Lead and SAP Trainer, handling testing, training, and post go-live support for a new finance system. In 2011, Ciaran joined Revolution IT as a Senior Test Consultant, providing IT consulting and quality assurance solutions. Ciaran later joined Transport Sydney Trains as a UAT Manager and QA Lead, managing user acceptance testing and running parallel testing. Currently, Ciaran is working at Fenergo as an Automation Manager - Professional Services EMEA, with previous roles including Quality Assurance Manager and Delivery Operations Manager. In each position, they demonstrated skills in managing teams, executing test cycles, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Ciaran Turbitt attended CBS Grammar School from 1993 to 2000, where they studied A-Levels in Business Studies, Maths, and Computer Science. Ciaran then went on to Queen's University Belfast, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2000 to 2005.
