Joe Hopkinson

Joe Hopkinson has a diverse work experience. Joe is currently working as a Software Engineer at Fenergo since April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Backend Engineer at Sentinels from October 2022 to April 2023, when Sentinels was acquired by Fenergo. Joe also held the role of Customer Success Engineer at Sentinels from July 2021 to September 2022. Joe Hopkinson has teaching experience as well, having worked as a Teaching Assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2020. Joe served as a Teaching Assistant for the "Introduction to Data Science" course and also for the "Databases" course. Before that, Joe Hopkinson worked as a Lifeguard at City of York Council from November 2015 to June 2017.

Joe Hopkinson completed their education with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they attended All Saints RC School York from 2015 to 2017 to obtain their A Levels. Prior to A Levels, Joe attended the same school from 2010 to 2015 for their GCSEs. In addition to their education, Joe also earned several certifications, including the Duke of Edinburgh Silver from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in November 2015, the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification with integrated AED from RNLI in June 2015, and the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in December 2013.
