Shane Murphy

Shane Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a General Office Assistant at Met Éireann, updating inventory. In 2012, they volunteered at Age Action Ireland, assisting elderly individuals with computer and tablet use. In 2013, they did contract UX work for Rubicoin. Shane then worked as a Quantitative Research Analyst Intern at iReach in 2014, where they scripted and analyzed online surveys. Shane also interned as a UX and Engagement Strategist at Rothco, working on projects for clients such as Dublin Bus and AIB. In the same year, they were a UX Intern at Publicis D, carrying out research and working on advertising campaigns. In 2015, Shane worked as a Ux/Design/Admin at Travel Escapes, designing adverts and assisting with website development. From 2016 to 2019, they held various roles at Sedgwick Ireland, including Quality Assurance Analyst and Quality Assurance and Training Lead. Shane'sresponsibilities included agent compliance training and call analysis. From 2019 to 2022, Shane worked at Fenergo as a Quality Analyst and later as a Senior Quality Analyst. In this role, they tested highly customized Fintech software for investment banks, collaborated with project teams, and ensured adherence to quality assurance standards.

Shane Murphy's education history includes a variety of fields and institutions. From 2002 to 2008, they attended Cabinteely Community School but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 2009, they enrolled in the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, where they pursued a B.Sc.(Hons) in Applied Psychology, completing their studies in 2013. In 2008 and 2009, they also attended Senior College Dun Laoghaire (SCD) and earned a FETAC Level 5 Award in Community & Health Services with a focus on Applied Psychology. Returning to their education in 2017, Shane received a Professional Certificate in Insurance (APA) from The Insurance Institute.
