Sumitavo Paul

Sumitavo Paul has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Sumitavo is currently working as a Solutions Architect at Fenergo, a global Fintech company based in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, they are part of the Global Architecture Practice for the Americas region.

Prior to their current position, Sumitavo worked as a Solutions Architect at Collabera, where they were a part of the Architecture Practice and pre-sales team. Sumitavo worked on various solutions such as Prometheus Grafana monitoring, log management using ELK, cloud migration, and generic AWS architectures.

Before joining Collabera, Sumitavo had a long tenure at Cognizant, starting as a Programmer Analyst Trainee and progressing to roles such as Senior Associate and Architect | Software Engineering Manager. Sumitavo led various projects and teams, focusing on microservices architecture, domain-driven design, CQRS, and other design principles. Sumitavo also contributed to establishing CI/CD strategies and played leadership roles in scaled agile principles.

Throughout their career, Sumitavo has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership capabilities, contributing to the development and enhancement of multi-million dollar projects.

Sumitavo Paul completed their education in Computer Science at St.Xavier's College, Kolkata. Sumitavo obtained a Bachelor's Degree from 2002 to 2005 and later pursued a Master's Degree from 2005 to 2007, both at St.Xavier's College.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sumitavo Paul has obtained several certifications over the years. Sumitavo became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in March 2022 from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In November 2020, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In August 2020, Sumitavo became a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. Sumitavo also holds the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in December 2019. In April 2018, they became a SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner, also from Scaled Agile, Inc.
