Richard Armstrong

Richard focuses on originations, the evaluation and identification of new investment opportunities, and market intelligence, and plays a role in the broader Fengate Private Equity strategic planning.

Prior to joining Fengate in 2022, Richard worked in Scotiabank’s private equity sponsor coverage group, a sponsor-focused team delivering a full spectrum of leveraged finance solutions and value-added advice to support buyouts and recapitalizations of mid-market Canadian companies.

Richard holds a Masters of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Economics and Finance from the University of Guelph.
