Head Of Legal, Global Restructuring at Fenice Energy

Greg Scallen has comprehensive experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in the legal and restructuring fields. Greg currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at BW Solar. In their previous roles, they worked at SunEdison Canada as the Chief Restructuring Officer and at SunEdison as the Head of Legal, Global Restructuring. Greg also held various high-level legal positions at SunEdison, including Vice President Legal for Canada and Senior Legal Counsel. Additionally, they co-founded Pith and Substance and served as a board member for TerraForm Power, Inc. and TerraForm Global, Inc. Greg's expertise in the renewable energy sector extends to their role as the Board Chair of the Canadian Solar Industries Association. Prior to their involvement in the renewable energy sector, Greg held a senior legal counsel position at Ontario Power Generation.

Greg Scallen completed their education at three different institutions. Greg began their education at the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in an unspecified field of study from 1989 to 1993. Following that, they attended Dalhousie University - Schulich School of Law from 1993 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Finally, Greg Called to the Bar through the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1998.
