Miguel Abizanda Gomez

Miguel Abizanda Gomez is an experienced engineer specializing in communications and commissioning within the renewable energy sector. Currently employed at SunEdison since March 2014, Miguel focuses on managing communication networks for photovoltaic plants and oversees energy production reporting, including failure detection and repair. Prior to this role, Miguel worked as an Operation and Maintenance Engineer at EDF from March 2010 to February 2014, where responsibilities included monitoring PV plants and managing sensor setups. Miguel holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and additional qualifications in Wind Energy from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and Mechanical Engineering studies as an Erasmus student at the University of Stuttgart.
