Bill McCartan

Bill McCartan has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Bill started their career in sales at Proctor and Gamble in 1982 before moving to Johnson & Johnson as an Orthopaedic Sales representative. Bill then transitioned to a financial consultancy role at Shearson Lehman Bros. in 1986. In 1987, Bill joined Adams, McEntee - Fleet Norstar as a Municipal Bond Sales representative. Bill worked at Trustco Bank as an Administrative Vice President from 1994 to 2003. Currently, Bill is at Fenimore Asset Management, where they have held multiple roles such as Sales Associate, Principal, and Senior Director since 2003.

Bill McCartan attended Lafayette College from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Bill then pursued further education and from 1988 to 1992, they attended the University at Albany, SUNY, earning a Master's degree in Public Finance.
