Mark Meier

Mark Meier has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mark is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Commercial at Fennec Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Sales at Orphazyme A/S, where they contributed to the development of new treatment options for orphan protein-misfolding diseases. Mark also worked at Eli Lilly and Company as an Advanced Marketing Professional, where they played a crucial role in brand strategy development and localization. Mark held executive positions at Horizon and Marathon Pharmaceuticals, LLC, where they directed sales and marketing efforts and led the pre-launch of a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy drug. Mark also held marketing roles at Lundbeck and Galderma, where they successfully launched new products and managed national sales teams. Mark began their career at Stiefel Laboratories as a sales representative, eventually transitioning into product management and overseeing multiple prescription drugs.

Mark Meier attended Columbia Business School in 2021, where they completed an Executive Education program focused on Digital Marketing. The program covered topics such as Customer Engagement, Social Media, Planning, and Analytics. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1989, Mark Meier studied at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. In addition, in May 2020, they obtained a certification in Data Analytics for Business Professionals from LinkedIn.
