Adam Kunesh

Adam Kunesh has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Summer Research Intern at the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network. Here, they performed tasks such as sputterer work, simulation, and manual image analysis related to bladder cancer diagnosis.

In 2015, they also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they fabricated and characterized biomimetic nano-optical structures, implementing a novel photolithographic exposure setup. This role required hands-on hardware tailoring, software development, and troubleshooting.

From 2017 to 2021, Adam worked at the University of California, Davis, in multiple roles including Lecturer, Graduate Student Researcher, and Teaching Assistant. Adam taught over 1000 students on topics ranging from classical mechanics to neuroscience while taking graduate-level courses in Physics, Mathematics, and Neuroscience, along with some undergraduate-level Computer Science.

Currently, Adam is working as a Software Developer at Fennel since 2021. Their responsibilities include developing data pipelines, APIs, and deployment strategies for a retail investment app, as well as leading discussions on backend testing and optimization.

Adam Kunesh completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from the University of California, Davis, from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics (BS) and Mathematics (Applied Option) (BS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Adam's high school education was completed at Jay M. Robinson High School from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they participated in the North Carolina Governor's School East in 2012, focusing on Instrumental Music.
