Joel Syvänen

Joel Syvänen is an experienced professional currently serving as Manager of Process Development and Transformation Business Owner at Fennia since April 2023. Prior to this role, Joel worked at Kela as a Development Specialist from April 2022 to April 2023, focusing on the collection reform subproject within the Eepos program. Joel has a long tenure at Fennia from March 2010 to April 2022, holding various roles including Development Manager, Business Analyst, and CRM Superuser, where responsibilities included selecting policy administration systems and leading integration projects. Earlier experience includes working as an Insurance Agent at If P&C Insurance and as an all-rounder in the front office at Fennia. Joel is currently pursuing a dual degree in management and information technology at Tampere University, building on previous academic achievements, including a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Tampere.
