Timo Vehviläinen

Timo Vehviläinen has extensive work experience in the field of information security and IT management. Timo started their career at DNA Finland as a Project Manager in 2000 and then went on to work at OMX Technology as a Development Manager until 2005. Timo then worked as an Information Security Consultant at Netsol/Secode Finland and later became a Senior Security Consultant at Nixu Oy from 2005 to 2008. Timo then joined Corenet Oy as an IT Manager, where they led the ICT department and was a member of the company's management team. Timo also participated in ICT and information security management teams in VR-Group (Finnish Railroads). After that, Timo worked at Tieturi as a Vice President, responsible for building and managing the company's product and service portfolio. Timo was also a member of Tieturi's management team. In 2014, they joined Kesko as an Information Security Manager and held the same role at Alko Oy from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Timo is working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Fennia. In addition to their roles in various companies, they have also worked as a freelancer, providing ICT instruction and consultation services.

Timo Vehviläinen completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Technology at Helsingin liiketalouden ammattikorkeakoulu from 1996 to 2000. Apart from their formal education, they have obtained several certifications over the years.
