Fennovoima

Fennovoima is a Finnish nuclear power company. Its project Hanhikivi 1 is the largest single investment in Finland. When commissioned, the power plant will provide emission-free and reliable electricity at a stable price for Finnish households and businesses. The project – with its 1200 MW electricity output – is now in the licensing phase. Fennovoima was founded in 2007 by a group of Finnish industrial companies and energy utilities in need of reliable low carbon electricity. Fennovoima has two direct owners (Voimaosakeyhtiö SF and RAOS Voima). This unique project gives Finnish and foreign experts the opportunity to prove their competence.
