Fenton Community High School District 100
James Ongtengco is an experienced educational administrator who has held various leadership roles in different school districts. James has served as a Superintendent at Fenton Community High School District 100 since July 2015. Prior to that, James was an Associate Superintendent and Principal at the same district. Before their time at Fenton, James was an Assistant Principal at Mundelein High School District 120 and Belvidere Community Unit School District 100. James Ongtengco holds graduate degrees from Aurora University and Northeastern Illinois University, as well as an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Since 1955, District 100 has offered a comprehensive educational program to students in grades 9 - 12. District enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year is 1477. Fenton Community High School has been recognized as one of the “Top High Schools in America” by the Washington Post and a Advanced Placement Honor Roll recipient by College Board District 100 welcomes comments that are relevant to the topic being discussed in our Facebook posts.
