Richard Aerts

Richard Aerts has extensive work experience in the IT field, specializing in project and program management. Richard is currently working as an IT Director at FENZI Official since 2022. Previously, they served as the European IT Manager at Fuji Seal Europe from 2016 to 2022, where they managed a team of 30+ IT employees and oversaw infrastructure and applications for 6 main production locations in Europe. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Director at DSM from 2014 to 2016, managing junior/medior project managers and leading global IT projects. From 2010 to 2014, Richard served as a Global IT Program Manager at SABIC, overseeing the project portfolio in SABIC Global Procurement and leading the global Procure to Pay program. Richard also worked as a Manager of IT Business Process Management at SABIC Europe from 2008 to 2010, where they set up the SAP Competence Center and built the Business Process Management department. Richard started their career at DSM Fibre Intermediates in 1992, working as a Consultant in Office Automation and later as an IT project manager for setting up a standard workplace. Richard has a strong background in managing IT projects, optimizing processes, and leading teams in the IT industry.

Richard Aerts has a diverse education history. Richard obtained their PMP certification from PMI in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a CPIM program at APICS from 2006 to 2007. In 1994 to 1998, Richard pursued a post-bachelor degree in Business Management at the Technical University Eindhoven with a focus on Business Management. Richard also studied at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990, specializing in HEAO BI. Lastly, Richard completed their VWO degree at Philips van Horne scholen gemeenschap from 1979 to 1986. Additionally, they obtained the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI in 2014.
