Maaike Wit

Maaike Wit is an experienced professional currently serving as the General Manager at Ferentes B.V. since January 2024. Prior to this role, Maaike worked at Gemeente Amsterdam from August 2019 to January 2024 as a Policy Advisor for Integration and Language, leading the Amsterdam Language Agreement project, and previously as a Senior Job Coach and Job Coach focused on supporting newcomers in securing sustainable employment. Earlier experiences include working on the Plan Einstein project aimed at enhancing the lives of asylum seekers and local residents, and various positions in project management and research related to humanitarian efforts and Holocaust studies. Maaike holds a Master's degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from the University of Amsterdam, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Political History and International Relations from Utrecht University, and has participated in various international programs.
