Coralie Lefebvre is the fermentation manager at Fermentalg. Coralie has over ten years of experience in the field of fermentation, enzymes, and project management.
Lefebvre started their career as an R&D manager for fermentation enzymes at Puratos in 2007. In this role, they were responsible for the management of the fermentation platform at the lab and pilot scale. Coralie also led the development of strategies, new processes, and new technologies to improve fermentation yield.
In 2012, Lefebvre took on the role of project leader for the Single Cells project, a consortium consisting of 1 PME, 1 pharmaceutical industry, and 3 research centers. In this role, they were responsible for project submission, project management, consortium meetings, communication with administrations, leading of scientific researches, and project valorization.
In 2014, Lefebvre became the project manager for the R&D project for production of one hemicellulase for feed. In this role, they served as the interface between other activities in the R&D enzyme department, including new enzyme discovery, strain development, and industrialization. Coralie also developed a network in the fermentation field and managed a team of 2 lab technicians, 1 project engineer, and 1 manager.
Lefebvre has been with Fermentalg since 2019. In their current role as fermentation manager, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of fermentation, from start to finish.
Coralie Lefebvre has a Master's degree in process engineering from Ecole superieure d'ingénieurs de Luminy.
Coralie Lefebvre reports to Philippe Lavielle, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Emmanuelle Benitez Cano - Human Resources Director, Olivier Cagnac - Extraction & Purification Manager, and Sebastien Le Quere - Product Manager.
