Paul Ellison

Paul Ellison is an experienced legal professional specializing in international trade compliance and export-import control. Currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel & Export-Import Control Compliance Manager at Fermi Research Alliance, LLC, since July 2018, Paul oversees import and export control compliance. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Counsel for International Trade Compliance at Hughes, where strategic advice was provided to senior personnel on business development and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Paul held the position of Vice President of Trade Compliance at Government Relations, LLC, representing clients in key government discussions. Early career experience includes a Law Clerk position at Gura & Day, LLC, and a Licensing Associate role at DGM International, Inc. Paul earned a Juris Doctor from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
