Uche Jumbo serves as the Global Senior Director of Consumer Affairs Quality Compliance & Systems at Ferrara since February 2015, after progressing from the role of Director in the same department. With a focus on quality compliance and consumer affairs, Uche Jumbo previously held positions as a Senior Manager for Regulatory Consumer Affairs and Innovation Quality, as well as Plant Quality Manager. In November 2019, Uche Jumbo founded Choputa, a company specializing in instant breakfast cereal made from Fonio, an ancient supergrain, aimed at fostering economic transformation in West Africa and introducing health benefits to the US market. Prior experience includes roles as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Ingredion Incorporated and SeraCare Life Sciences and as a Quality Laboratory Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where Uche Jumbo gained expertise in GFSI standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Uche Jumbo holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology with a focus on Regulatory Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Calabar.
