Edward Newberry

Edward Newberry serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of both the Strategic Acquisitions Committee and Compensation Committee at Ferrellgas since September 2021. Currently, Edward holds the position of Global Managing Partner at Squire Patton Boggs, a role undertaken since June 2014, following a comprehensive tenure at Patton Boggs L.L.P. where Edward advanced from Deputy Managing Partner to Managing Partner from January 1991 to May 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as Appropriations Associate Staff for the U.S. House Appropriations Committee and as Legislative Assistant and Press Secretary for Honorable Frank R. Wolf (R-VA). Edward holds a Doctor of Law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Speech Communication and Business Administration with distinction from George Mason University.
