Anie Azroyan

Anie Azroyan, PhD, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Anie is currently working at Ferring Pharmaceuticals as the Head of Medical Affairs for the Europe-Latam-Canada region. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Medical Affairs Europe at the same company.

Before joining Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Azroyan worked at Ipsen, where they held various positions. Anie served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, and Head of Global Medical Affairs. In this role, they supported the leadership team in enhancing the value proposition for global medical affairs and patient safety. Anie also worked as an International MSL Associate Director and a Medical Project Manager in the Specialty Care Global Medical Affairs division.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Azroyan worked at Sanofi as a Global Project Manager. Anie also gained research experience as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Additionally, they worked as a Doctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer in Physiology and Nephrology at INSERM. Anie also served as a Visiting Scientist at MPI-CBG - Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics.

Anie Azroyan, PhD, MBA has a diverse education history. Anie started their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Life Science & Biology from Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) in 2006. Anie then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physiology, Pathology, and Related Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2008.

In the same year, Anie Azroyan also undertook an internship in Cardiovascular Science at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. This internship provided their with valuable practical experience in the field.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Anie Azroyan went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physiology, Pathology, and Related Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2011. Their research during this time focused on advanced studies in physiology and pathology.

In 2013, they expanded their expertise by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Collège des Ingénieurs. This added business acumen to their educational background, equipping their with the necessary skills for managerial roles.

To further enhance their knowledge, Anie Azroyan engaged in a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they specialized in the fields of Nephrology and Systems Biology.
