Hongliang du

Hongliang Du, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since October 2021, focusing on the design and development of long-acting injectables for various APIs, including peptides and small molecular drugs. Prior to this, Hongliang held the position of R&D Project Supervisor at CARDIONOVUM, where responsibilities included developing a new drug-coated balloon product and leading technology transfer initiatives. At KONRUNS Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Hongliang was a Scientist involved in the pre-formulation development of new compounds and production of Class 1 oral formulations. During the Boya Postdoctoral Fellowship at Peking University, research centered on intelligent nano-micelle drug delivery systems, leading multiple national fund projects. Additionally, as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Utah, Hongliang worked on polymer-modified gold nanorods for cancer therapy. Hongliang earned a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Shandong University, complemented by a Joint PhD at the University of Utah.
