Jim Stead

Jim Stead is a seasoned professional in contract operations and market access, currently serving as Director of Contract Operations Market Access at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since May 2014. In this role, Jim manages the commercial contracting group, overseeing offers and contracts related to Buy and Bill strategies, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), group purchasing organizations (GPOs), and health plans. Previously, Jim held the position of Director of Contract Administration at Express Scripts from September 2006 to April 2013, focusing on pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate administration and compliance. Prior to that, as Senior Manager of Contracting at Medco Health Solutions, Jim managed drug manufacturer billing and facilitated the invoicing and collection of rebates exceeding $600 million annually. Jim's career began as an Accountant at Empire Corporate Transportation from 1991 to 1994. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Dominican University New York, earned between 1986 and 1990.
