Klaus Grønbæk Jakobsen

Klaus Grønbæk Jakobsen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and global safety within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as VP and Head of Global Safety at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since November 2012, Klaus also leads the Ferring Bioethics and Environmental, Social, and Governance Steering Committees. Previous roles include VP and Global Head of PV Processes at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, overseeing a large team across multiple continents, and Senior Director and EU Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance at Nycomed, where Klaus developed a unified corporate drug safety unit. Other notable positions include roles at Novo Nordisk and various hospitals, contributing to both clinical development and medical safety. Klaus holds a Medical Doctor degree from Aarhus University and has completed executive business mentorship training.
