Sophie Dubois has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sophie is currently working at Ferring Pharmaceuticals as the Associate Vice President Head of Global Market Access & Strategic Pricing, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director and Head of Global Market Access & Strategic Pricing at the same company, starting in September 2021.
Before joining Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Sophie worked at Takeda as the Strategy and Public Affairs Director from August 2013 to November 2020. Sophie also held the position of Director Market Pricing & Reimbursement International at Shire from July 2008 to June 2013.
Sophie's career began at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they worked in Pricing and Reimbursement from 1999 to 2000. Sophie then joined Novartis as a Pricing and Reimbursement Brand Manager from 2000 to 2004. After that, they worked at Simon-Kucher & Partners as a Director from November 2004 to June 2008.
Sophie Dubois has a diverse education history. Sophie obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Université Paris Cité in the field of Industrial Pharmacy Marketing and Pharmacology from 1992 to 2000. Sophie also pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Pharmacy: Health Economy and Management from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from 1998 to 1999, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacology, Statistics, and Models from Université Paris Cité from 1997 to 1998.
In terms of their business education, Sophie completed an Essec & Mannheim Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School from 2019 to 2021. Sophie also attended Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in 2022, specializing in Global Business and Public Policymaking.
In addition to their formal education, Sophie obtained certifications in various fields. Sophie earned a certificate in Patient Centricity: PROs & Clinical Outcomes Assessments from Symmetric Training in 2022. In 2009, they obtained a certificate in Health Economics of Pharmaceuticals and other Medical Interventions from the European School of Health Economics. Furthermore, they achieved a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment International Education in 2001.
