Tony Jørgensen

Tony Jørgensen has had an extensive career in the pharmaceutical industry. Tony most recently served as the Senior Director of Development Compliance and later as the Vice President of Global Quality Assurance at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant at TJ Quality Consulting and as the VP of Quality at CMC Biologics A/S. Before that, they held various roles at Genmab, including VP of Corporate Quality, Senior Director of QA and Regulatory Affairs, and Director of QA. Tony also served as the Project Director and Head of Quality at Maxygen. Tony began their career at Novo Nordisk A/S, where they started as a Research Principal Scientist and later became a Department Manager in QA. In 2022, Tony professionally retired.

Tony Jørgensen obtained a Cand.Scient degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology from Aarhus University between 1979 and 1986. Tony further pursued their education at the same university and completed their Erhversforsker (PhD) degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Chromatography from 1986 to 1989.
