Joao Paulo Braz

Joao Paulo Braz currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Industrialization, Energy, and Terminals at Porto do Açu, overseeing business development and commercial activities, including P&L management for the multicargo terminal and connectivity projects. With extensive experience in the maritime and logistics sectors, Joao held senior positions at Maersk Supply Service, where responsibilities included managing operations across Latin America and Africa and securing long-term contracts. Additionally, Joao's career includes roles in commercial management with Westfal-Larsen Shipping AS, A.P. Moller - Maersk, and Safmarine. Joao holds multiple advanced degrees in business administration, including an ongoing Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School, and has completed prestigious training programs such as the Maersk International Shipping Education (MISE).
